Mike Five - Avoid & Evade
After 20+ years of playing in bands and being involved in the independent music scene, Label Manager Mike Five is poised to release his debut album, The Right To Protest, this September.
Lead single, Avoid and Evade, gives listeners a taste what to expect on this bold, politically charged Punk album that delves into the realm of left-leaning anarchism, fearlessly confronting the political establishment.
We decided to have a bit of fun with this one and made the stems to the song publicly available for remixes - the public did NOT disappoint! You can get your copy of the single with all TEN(!) remixes for just £1 HERE.
Time. Space. Repeat. - Bossa Never
Time. Space. Repeat. (TSR) is a one-man recording project creating music that sits somewhere between post rock, shoegaze and film soundtracks.
Work began on album number four in 2023 after entering the Lights And Lines #AlbumWritingClub where over 50 musicians signed up to write and record an album each in just one month. The resulting album, Consequence, charted a descent from utopia into disaster. Lead single Bossa Never, with its New Order influenced bass line, Mogwai guitars and catchy marimba hook won the 'Best Single - Public Vote' category, charting 15% of all responses!
As a result we're delighted to be able to release Bossa Never on Lights And Lines, and we hope to continue working with TSR afterwards too...

Beth Sarah - Inside Your Head
Speaking of winners - Beth Sarah is a singer-songwriter, captivating audiences with her blend of 90s nostalgia and a fresh, uplifting perspective on transformation and self-development. Beth's Sarah's Fractured won the Best Album category in this years #AlbumWritingClub and we can't wait to share it with you!

Susy Wall - Heartsore
And we're not done with winners just yet... Susy Wall won the Best EP category in this years #AlbumWritingClub and we're delighted to be able to share a track from this too!
Originally from Wales and now living in the Black Country, Susy Wall has always been inspired by her surroundings, and strives to write honest songs that tell the ordinary story, often inspired by the every day moments that often go unnoticed.
The EP, 'Black is the Country, Blue is the Colour', simply stunned us when we heard it and Susy will be working to turn the EP into a full-length album which will be released on Lights And Lines in 2024. In the meantime we're delighted to be able to share the lead single, Heartsore.
Heartsore showcases Susy's stunning voice and excellent songwriting. With simplicity and raw emotion at it's heart, each instrument is given the space and time to shine in this beautiful song.
